Joe has worked in family law since 2012, qualifying as a solicitor in 2015. His cases generally involve significant complexity. Many are in the High Court, and often have an international dimension.
His practice centres on high-value financial proceedings on divorce and under Schedule 1 of the Children Act 1989, complex children disputes, and pre-nuptial agreements. He is known for his technical expertise, efficiency, and a forensic knowledge of the detail of his cases.
Joe deals with cases with sensitivity, as well as a clear sense of direction and strategy. His creativity achieves positive outcomes even in the most difficult of cases.
Joe acts for and against high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals in complex financial proceedings, including senior executives, business owners, and professionals across a wide range of industries. Many of his financial cases are in the High Court.
He regularly advises on and prepares pre-nuptial agreements, and acts in children proceedings covering child arrangements disputes, serious domestic abuse allegations, and relocation applications. He has extensive experience in cases with international elements (including jurisdiction and forum disputes) with recent matters involving the USA, Switzerland, and the UAE.
Joe is also experienced in urgent applications for interim maintenance, freezing injunctions, and legal funding, and works across various forms of non-court dispute resolution.
